Mrs. Ghulam Zuhra Khoso –Chairperson

Ms. Zuhra Khoso the chairperson of Community Development Foundation CDF for the tenure 2022-2024 is a retired government official. She appointed as social welfare officer in social welfare department government of Sindh in 1989 and retired as Deputy Director social welfare district Jacobabad in 2020. She is masters in sociology and passed Sindh public service commission exam and become social welfare officer in grade 17. During her service she worked in Jacobabad, Larkana , Kashmore, Shikarpur in different posts and registered hundreds of NGOs as registration authority. She strives for the sustainability of local NGOs/CBOs by providing technical support and guidance. She also worked for the empowerment of women and girls and person with disability. During her charge of deputy director she runs skill development program for women and girls and facilitated PWDs to get registered with department and certified thousands of PWDs for becoming eligible for jobs and livelihood. Currently she is providing voluntarily services as chairperson of Community Development Foundation CDF after the retirement of government job.

Ghulam Muhammmad (GM) Sooomro:

Ghulam Muhammad Alias GM Smmoro 43 years old a social scientist belongs from Jacobabad he have 19 years’ experience in social development sector. GM Soomro is founding member and 1st elected chairperson of Community Development Foundation He has taken many initiatives in development sector CDF is a prominent initiative from those initiatives, His expertise of training, management, operations, research, policy review program designing for rural and urban development in Disaster Risk Management, Education, FP & RH, SRHR, WASH, Safety & security, emergency responses, capacity building, career counseling, civil engineering sectors , lead him to worked as employee and consultant with local national and international organizations throughout Pakistan. He has vast experience in organizational development & organizational behaviors he believes in human development he “says sustainable development is not possible without human development”.

Nasarullah Naich: MPH

Nasrullah is a public health and development professional with over ten years working experience on project management in social and development sector for managing public health, human rights and community development projects. Currently He is working with World Health Organization and prior to this He was Consultant Research and Partnership Development with BasicNeeds Pakistan in its Mental Health and Development Programme. He have Master of Masters of Public Health degree from James P. Grant School of Public Health BRAC University Dhaka, Bangladesh and Masters of Sociology fromShah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Pakistan. He has vast experience for working with different local, national and international organizations on reproductive health, minority rights, livelihood, gender empowerment, shelter, camp coordination, camp management, social mobilization, emergency relief and response, disaster risk reduction: preparedness and response. Beside all of this he has good communication, mobilization, motivational, program management, report writing, data analysis, public speaking and strategy designing skills. As a researcher he has conducted researches and baseline/situation analysis of mental health and relationship between flood and diarrhea.

Saima Gul: Memebr

Saima Gul Mirani is human rights Activist and development sector professional with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, respected for my capabilities in Project co- ordination and successful implementation of the projects, management support, effective reporting and maintaining donor/ partner relations. Proven track record of delivering project results on time, within budget and according to organizational commitments. She is masters in English and masters in sociology and having more than 10 years’ experience with CBOs NGOs and INGOs, program development and implementation in areas of Education, Human Rights (Minorities) Child rights, Gender equality and Women’s economic empowerment through promoting girls’ education and supporting society through developing skills among youth, encourage entrepreneurship and career counseling. Technically sound and skilled in project tools and Project management, capacity building & mentoring, facilitation, community mobilization, development of work plans/planning grids, reporting of program achievements, relationship building and donor compliance. Ability to work under short deadlines, prioritize tasks on merit through adopting a focused approach and effective communication skills. Aspires to contribute effectively towards educational, social, political and economic empowerment of communities through offering best of my capabilities in this field and supporting sustainable development. She remained associated with different organizations where she has served her expertise to upgrade the institution from the individual range for professional development. A part from this she international member of Asia Pacific Greens Federation(APGF) I have been offering my services in the area of International networking and translation, IEC material development, writing success stories from field, developing concept papers, writing research reports and composing Newsletters for international communities. She started her career with development sector in my early age and joined MSS as a Youth Counselor where she involved in peer activities, than joined and other Organization having same goal working on youth career counseling Youth Action for Pakistan (YAP). After than worked in PEHE, than ARC international, Community Development foundation CDF, RDF, than again in CDF and then with Tele Taleem (SRP) where she has used her abilities and capabilities and done with my responsibilities.

Mr. Muhammad Jan Odhano, CEO/ED

Qualification : Masters in Sociology/LLB Professional Profile: Mr. Jan Odhano is a professional development practitioner recently working with Community Development Foundation CDF. He has 20 years extensive experience of field, management, monitoring and evaluation, research in the development field. He started his work as journalist in national and regional newspapers of Pakistan. After eight years journalistic work he turned in to development filed and started working as social mobilizer in an international organization Mercy corps Pakistan. Mr. Jan Odhano has working experience with Mercy Corps, Save the Children US, Oxfam GB, IFES and other international organizations on different field level, mid-level and management positions. He joined as CEO of a local Jacobabad based organization Community Development Foundation CDF in 2012 and continues till now. Besides a senior level development experience he is an active Human and women rights activist in north Sindh. He remain member of National Commission on the status of women from 2013 -2015, his voluntary services are affiliated with many national and local organizations and government department. He is member of DDMA, DPEC, Child protection desk, Child marriage restraint act monitoring committee in district Jacobabad and member of HRCP, PFDP, Sindh Human Rights defenders network.

Shabir Ahmed Pechuho

The Program Manager CDF who is Post graduate in English Literature with a comprehensive eight year experience in education sector, objectively tendering his professional services as social activist, a mentor, researcher is an individual who looks into the project team management, planning, implementation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting strategies with Strong co-ordination, communication Liaise with Stakeholders and community with quality, compliance and accountability further promote organizational culture. The incumbent is quite familiar to core desktop multitasking’s skills high standard certification from IBA Sukkur, PITE Nawabshah on interactive learning, multi-grade pedagogy, mentoring techniques and its challenges, supporting and limiting factors, application of ICT4D, ICT4E, SIMILER approaches of MEAL and LAD procedures

Liza Khan Focal Person

My name is Liza Khan I’m Focal Person to different donors and alliances including WHH, Concern worldwide, CHS Alliance, C4C- Charter for Change, NHN, DDMAs, UN working group of Education and Protection, WG of Communication by ToGETHER, WG PSEAH by CHS Alliance, CHS revision process to CWSA, GNDR Represent and contribute in global, national, and local forums such as Start Network, National Humanitarian Network, UN clusters and government forums. I have eight years of experience in learning and organization development, programs Management, training and facilitation, entrepreneurship ecosystem, business development, Leadership and management, digital skills and proposal writing; working with non-profit, for-profit, SME’s, Academic institutions, and public sector organizations. I have worked with national and international organizations and being part of global communities, my experience and contributions have impacted young people, entrepreneurs, SMEs, professionals, and organizations in Pakistan. As a Humanitarian Worker and Training Consultant, I help organizations design strategies and programs for their greater impact, and facilitates learning programs nationally and internationally for corporate, non- profits, SMEs, academia, and youth to enrich their leadership values, organizational impact, team performance, and productivity. In my professional career, I have designed and delivered multiple high impact learning and development programs and have worked with many organizations; including, SHIFA Welfare Association, Legal Rights Forum –LRF, Pak Shaheen Organization, youth development Organization, The Citizens Foundation, Community Development Foundation-CDF and many more. I have executed and facilitated more than 32 development and Humanitarian programs and projects with/for partner organizations. I have recently worked as a Director Programs and an Advisor at SHIFA and I’m currently giving my services to Community Development Foundation-CDF as a Program Head and Focal Person for a Global Program-ToGETHER funded by WHH- Welt hunger hilfe (Global Program being implemented in 08 countries). Moreover; I am an evaluator by default with an analytical mindset and interest to meet new people, learn new things, and challenge my limits
